The wonderful deal on the Ford 500 just reviewed is still available as far as I can see. The vehicle model #70005 is still present on it's website. When Ford's website is visited no vehicle with it's exact $27,035 price pop-up but one black SEL @$26,538, and a grey SEL @$28,500 are close enough to #70005 to ,I'm sure, create similar savings. What an ad like this provides you is a legally binding document,( if the ads dealer agrees that the ad was indeed legitimate), that you can use as grist for your mill. You can call your preferred Ford dealer and simply ask if they would match an ad from another dealer. This puts them in a vulnerable position. The salesperson knows that if they say no you will walk, while also feeling a bit of pride that you would go to their dealer over the one in the ad simply because you prefer them. Remember dealers will not lie to you or steal from your pockets but will gladly empty your wallet if you allow them to by not arming yourself with facts. A black and white ad provided a nice clean non-confrontational way to start your negotiating.
